Supreme Team IX Contest

It's time for the new Supreme Team contest at godigitalscrapbooking.com. They have 4 rounds and then choose their team. I made it through three rounds each time, and have my fingers crossed to show some improvement this time around. Here is the awesome kit we'll be working with first. I have so many ideas flying through my head. But those I really want to do include a lot of scanning and extraction and I don't have time for it with it being tax season :( But I'll likely use this kit to do it when things slow down. At any rate, I don't think any layout could look bad with this awesome kit - Sew Chic by Tricia Curtis!
I was taking a trip through some scrapbooking sites and ran across this kit that looks like it will be so versatile for exactly what it's titled - Everyday Happenings! Inspired by the name, I have found my happy medium -- unable to do the whole 365 thing, I'm settling for a monthly recap. The stickers in the kit with the names of the month gave me the idea! Check out this collab by Misty O'Brien and Spinky Dink Scraps which can be found at GingerScraps.net.

And here are the beginnings of my new resolution!

This kit will perk you right up with enough warm colors to make you smile and enough frosty glitter to make your eyes sparkle. The kit is currently on sale at GoDigitalScrapbooking.com!

And now Jenn has added two more parts to this awesome kit and I can't wait to play with them, too!!

Ladies and gentlemen, we've made it to round 3, to get this luscious kit and word art to play with!

I don't know why some days it seems impossible to get Blogger to allow me to move pictures around, but oh well. I was fortunate enough to make it through round 1, so here is the kit we were supplied for Round 2, A New Day by Christy Skaggs and the layout I created with it for the competition.

This month has been busy, busy, busy. Every once in a while, the scrapbooking site GoDigitalScrapbooking will have a call for their site creative team. They hold a contest with 4 rounds of entries and narrow down the applicants to a final team of 12 people who are chosen to represent the site.
Here is the kit and the layout I submitted for round 1.
